Undefined “Owl”

I’m baaaack!  I had an incredible time at Stampin’ Up!’s Leadership Conference in Houston, TX.I flew back home yesterday and let me tell you….it was a LOT colder here in Virginia.  Whew!  That’s okay though…I was beyond thrilled to see Mike and the kids at the airport.  Like I always say, “There’s no place like home!”.  I have lots of photos and info to share with you but since it’s getting close to midnight I thought I’d show you what I worked on tonight.

 

This is seriously cool… While I was at Stampin’ Up! Leadership last week, I had a chance to try my hand at our “Undefined” stamp carving kit. The kit includes everything you see in the photo (carving tools, rubber, wood blocks, marker). You can draw your own image/design or you can Google one and copy it. Just draw it on a piece of paper that will fit on one of the blocks with a pencil…flip the paper over onto the piece of rubber provided in the kit, and “rub” the design so that it transfers. Then you simply use the carving tools to create your very own stamp. I sketched an owl…The photos below show it in process. The card below is the one I create with my new stamp tonight.
