Ok…how can you go wrong with punch art AND feathers??
These sweet, little chicks were some of the new punch art critters I created for my main stage presentation at the Baltimore Regionals. Of course, like all my critters, they had to have names.
So…meet “Heidi, Hilda, Hillary and Hermoine”…
Aren’t they fun? They were made using the Ornament Punch and the Triple Heart Punch. They were embossed with the Polka Dot Embossing Folder. Be sure to give your punch art a little added dimension by sponging the edges. The eyes were created by coloring part of each pearl with a black permanent marker. Fun, huh?
The background was made with the Honeycomb Embossing Folder and a little Designer Series Paper. I then sponged it lightly with Soft Suede ink to make the embossing “pop”. I made four little envelopes out of Pool Party Core’dinations Cardstock and sanded the edges for a little “attitude”. 🙂
