Ok…I guess I should wish you a Happy Thanksgiving…BUT….this isn’t my Thanksgiving post!
I got in bed earlier (around 10:00 p.m.) and I just couldn’t sleep. I read for awhile and just chilled until Mike came up to bed around 11 p.m. I enjoyed having the day off. I got lots of things accomplished. When Mike came home early this afternoon, we did what we had promised we would….we took Linz and Zach to see Disney’s new release, “FROZEN”. They were SO excited and we all loved the movie. The music was wonderful….the animation…gorgeous….and the humor was just perfect.
So…now back to why I couldn’t sleep….
Many times I’ll get a new design idea when it’s really NOT a convenient time to create….like in the shower. LOL Tonight when we were on the way home I got this idea in my head and I just couldn’t wait.
Geez….now that I’ve built it up so much you probably won’t even like it and you’ll be afraid to burst my bubble. LOL Oh well….here you go…. Meet “Olaf” from Disney’s “Frozen”…
I’m sorry but I think he is just TOO stinkin’ CA-UTE! He is SO jolly and full off happiness. How can you NOT smile when you are around him?
I’ve had a tough time getting back in the punch art “groove” lately and I gotta say it feels SO good to have taken this character from start to finish tonight. I’m pretty sure I’ll be able to sleep now. 🙂
I promise to sit down and do a tutorial. I can tell you generally what I used. His head is from the Bigz Bow die for the Big Shot and the other pieces are mostly just various circles and ovals from punches. I’ll be more specific soon. Promise!
Okay…I have to be up early for the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day parade
in just a few short hours and I’ll watch it while I start cooking for the eight of us.
Wishing you and yours a blessed and Happy Thanksgiving,
