Happy Wednesday Everyone….
I’ve been looking through all of my retiring stamp sets and taking a few out to play with before they go to new homes. “Betsy’s Blossoms” has been a favorite of mine since it premiered. I just love the clean lines and the images are just sweet.
Here’s the card I created with it today…
I made a “step” card using some of the retiring “In Colors”…Raspberry Ripple, Primrose Petals, Gumball Green and Midnight Muse. I also added some of the retiring 3/8” Stitched Satin Ribbon in Primrose Petals too. (Item #126844). I used a piece of Linen Thread under the bird for a little 3D “nest” kinda thing. Thank you, Kimberly Van Diepen, for the inspiration.
I made the little bookmark on the left with two pieces of card stock and the Gumball Green piece is punched with the Scallop Tag Topper Punch (Item #133324). I tell you what….that thing is worth it’s weight in gold! I love all that I can create with it. See the two panels on the left hand side that are embossed? I used the Square Lattice Embossing Folder (Item #119976). It is also retiring. I’ve used the heck out of mine. If you haven’t gotten one yet, better hurry.
To finish it off, I added a few Basics Pearls (Item #119247) to bring it all to life.
I’m so happy with the way it turned out.
