Suitably Stamped with Michelle Suit
You can't use up creativity....the more you use...the more you have.
Happy Columbus Day!
It’s a dreary, rainy day outside but we don’t mind. We’re enjoying a relaxing day together inside where it’s toasty, dry and warm. It’s nice when everyone has the day off.
I was going through my cards this morning and trying to organize them. Sometimes one or two slip through the cracks and I forget to actually share them with you. GASP!! This card is one that I created as my swaps for Convention this past July. I loved the “Hot Diggity Dog” stamp set as soon as I saw it in the catalog. It just makes me smile.
Now…before I show it to you I want to tell you about a new feature here on my blog. I will be adding the products used for each project that I showcase at the end of each post. The best part is….when you click on the product, it will take you to my Online Store so that you can quickly and easily add it to your order. How cool is THAT??
Okay….Here’s the “Hot Diggity Dog” card…
I had so much fun creating the fun “dog collar and tag”. I think my favorite part is his shiny nose. Just a couple drops of Crystal Effects and VOILA!
Okay….here are the supplies used on this project. Remember….all you need to do is click on the item to add it to your order at my Online Store. Shop 24/7…no lines…no waiting.
Wishing you a magical day!
Michelle
Happy Weekend Peeps!
It’s been a quiet weekend here in our little corner of the world and that’s alright by me. Sometimes it’s nice to just slow things down and breathe. I have been wanting to get back in the studio to create a few new video tutorials. Mike and I worked hard on a new set up and today I finally got to shoot the first one in my new digs.
The technique I chose to share is definitely an oldie but a goodie. You know how they say that “everything old is new again”? Well…the “Cloisonne” technique is one of those. Take a look at the newest Suitably Stamped Video…Let me know what you think!
Cloisonne Technique Tutorial….
Wishing you a terrific Monday and a Happy Columbus Day,
Happy Friday Peeps!!
Today I have a little “Show and Tell” for you…
Yesterday I held two sessions of my “Tag! You’re it!” Christmas Tag class. The stampers all made 15 beautiful gift tags (5 designs/3 of each) and also made an adorable box to put them in. SO fun! The boxes are just the bomb! Did you know that you can purchase the empty stamp cases to use for tons of different things?? OMGeee!! They are SO stinkin’ AWESOME and there are so many uses for them. Let me show you what we made first and then I’ll show you the boxes and info….
Here’s the project…
Isn’t that FUN?? I have to giggle every time I see the “To/From” tag on the box because NOT ONE of the ladies said they would EVER think of giving their tags away! HAHAHAHAHA!
This was definitely not a class for the faint of heart but I think everyone agreed that it was TOTALLY worth it in the end. Whew!
Now…Let me show you those awesome boxes….
These little beauties can hold SO many things. Heck…you could even use them to pack your lunch in! They are on page 235 of the Annual Catalog. What a GREAT deal too.
To order yours, just go to my Online Store at http://stampinsuitsme.stampinup.net

What a terrific week this has been. I’ve been able to squeeze in a little time in the studio and I have so many new beauties to share over the coming weeks. The BIGGEST and BEST thing that happened this week??? We found out the gender of our gradbaby that’s due on April 2nd!!!!
Watch!
We are beyond thrilled! I spent this morning with Brittany at her sonogram appointment and that was absolutely magical. He actually looked right at us and waved. 🙂 (Oh YES he did!!!)
If you can’t tell….His head is on the right side with his right hand “waving” beside his right ear. You can see his eyes and mouth too. How awesome is THAT?? We can’t wait to meet him. He’s 11 weeks and 4 days old today. God is SO incredibly good.
Ok….so I bet you’re really here to see the new “Suitably Punched” Critter, huh? Okay…..
Please help me welcome “Max the Snowman” to the family…
Isn’t he the sweetest thing? He just looks like a happy guy. I love those sentiment stamps too. They are from a new set from the Holiday Catalog called “Making Spirits Bright” Wood Mount #135086 and Clear Mount #135089.
Check out all of the images included in the set… SO many possibilities all year long…
Max’s sweater, scarf and hat brim were made with the new “Color Me Autumn” Designer Series Paper – Item #135820. I love the colors in this pack of DSP. It’s also one of those products that can be used for more than just one season or holiday. LOVE that!
