SUPER SATURDAY IN A BOX

4 sessions to choose from—9 AM, 11 AM, 1 PM, 3 PM
The new Stampin’ Up catalog is about to be released!  Since we can’t have large gatherings right now, we’re bringing you Super Saturday in a box!  You can join from the comfort of your own home through Zoom meetings, or complete the projects whenever it’s convenient by looking at photo samples. 
At this virtual Super Saturday, there are four sessions with each session being designed around one new stamp set.  Join all four sessions for $50, or sign-up for individual sessions for $15 each.  The projects will not be pre-stamped, so you will need to own the stamps or include them in your registration.  Each session will run for an hour to an hour and a half.  This gives you time in between sessions to stretch, eat, check on the family, etc.

9 AM Session–Celebrate Sunflowers
Make four projects featuring the Celebrate Sunflowers bundle (page 13).
·         Option 1: Projects only, $15
·         Option 2: Projects and Celebrate Sunflowers stamp set, $39

11 AM Session–Pampered Pets
Make four projects featuring the Pampered Pets bundle (page 42).

Sending Thoughts….

The Sending Thoughts stamp set (in my humble opinion) is one that gets overlooked quite often in the Occasions Catalog (page 44).  It has some of the sweetest sentiments and it so versatile and (again…in my humble opinion) is definitely a keeper.  I love it even more paired with the beautiful Succulent Garden Designer Series Paper.  Oh!  And those sweet dragonflies!  Ugh….gorgeous!

Inlaid Dragonfly Card

  • Stamp Sets – Dragonfly Dreams (142924-Photopolymer), Sending Thoughts (142962-Wood, 142965-Clear)
  • Card Stock – Whisper White Thick (140272), Whisper White (100730), Succulent Garden Designer Series Paper (142778)
  • Stamp Pads – Smokey Slate (131179), Calypso Coral (126983)
  • Misc. –   Calypso Coral Thick Baker’s Twine (138412), Detailed Dragonfly Thinlits Dies (142749), Big Shot (143263), Liquid Multipurpose Glue (110755)
  • Bundle & Save 144728 Stamp Set & Framelits
           Measurements: 
  • Whisper White Thick 5-1/2 x 8-1/2
  • Whisper White 4 x 5-1/4
  • Succulent Garden Designer Series Paper 1/2 x 5-1/4

           Instructions:

  1. Die cut dragonflies from Whisper White front layer (4 x 5-1/4).
  2. Stamp greeting on same layer with Smokey Slate ink.
  3. Adhere strip of designer series paper to left side.
  4. Stamp dotted image in Calypso Coral ink on card front several times so it will show under the die cut dragonfly images.
  5. Adhere front layer to card base.
  6. Glue die cut dragonflies back into place by placing glue behind the bodies of the dragonflies only – this allows the wings and tails to pop up a little bit.
  7. Tie Calypso Coral Thich Baker’s Twine around card as shown.
  8. Stamp “I know you’re sick & tired of being sick & tired…” with Smokey Slate ink on the inside of card.
  9. Stamp large dragonfly in Calypso Coral ink on inside bottom right corner.
  10. Enjoy!

Creative Circle Design Team – October Blog Hop

Hello, Friends!

I’m beyond excited today as I type this post.  I was asked to be a part of the Creative Circle Design Team Blog Hop!  Woot!  I’m so honored to be one of the designers that are included in this fun and talented group of ladies.

The Creative Circle Blog Hop is on the 6th of each month.  How fun that I get to post my very first one on October 6th since it is my 32nd wedding anniversary.
The theme for this month’s hop is the incredibly popular “Pop Up Card”.  When I started designing my card, I decided to go BIG or go home.  LOL  I designed a brand new punch art critter just for the occasion.  I absolutely love her.  If you’ve followed me and my punch art, you know that I always name my critters.  This lovely little lady’s name is “Wilma Vanderspook”.  She just makes me smile from ear to ear.  Wilma is different than most of my “critters” because she’s the leading lady of a new “exclusive” punch art family I’m going to be offering from time to time.  More on that later….I just can’t wait any longer to share her with you!
