Yes, I realize that it’s technically still winter but Mother Nature needs to make up her mind already. Snow and sleet today and then it’s supposed to be 70 degrees here on Sunday. Seriously?
Oh well…it might night be all flowers and sunshine out my window but it sure is here in the studio. I have been playing with a NEW set of freebies that were just introduced in the Sale a bration 2nd release and I love them.
By now you probably know that Sale a bration (or SAB) is one of Stampin’ Up’s biggest promotions of the year. With every $50 you spend you can choose one Level 1 product for FREE and with every $100 you can choose one from Level 2.
This year’s freebies are some of my all time favorites. No kidding! To see all Level 1 and 2 items, JUST CLICK HERE
Here are the 2nd release products that just went LIVE this past week. They are flying off of the shelves! No surprise there…
This week’s Facebook LIVE Tuesday featured the gorgeous “Country Floral” Dynamic Textured Embossing Folder. If you missed it, you can always check it out on my Suitably Stamped Facebook Page. JUST CLICK HERE
I shared how to create stunning cards using the folder, some ink and a few daubers.
Just look at that detail and those colors! Wowza! I feel spring in the air just looking at them.
The Country Florals embossing folder pairs beautifully with the “Beauty Abounds” Bundle from the Occasions Catalog (Pg. 13) Remember that you’ll save 10% when you order the stamp set and framelits as a bundle. If you order the bundle, you’ll be able to choose the folder for FREE! Woot!
Not only is the embossing folder perfect for creating cards, check it out when it’s used to emboss one of our Acetate Card Boxes. How exciting would it be to get a beautiful box of handmade cards?
See that beautiful, metallic edge coordinating ribbon? That was easy peasy! I used the 3/8″ Metallic Edge Ribbon (silver/white) and colored it with my Stampin’ Markers. Cool, right?
Here are the stamp set and framelits in the Bundle…
The Sending Thoughts stamp set (in my humble opinion) is one that gets overlooked quite often in the Occasions Catalog (page 44). It has some of the sweetest sentiments and it so versatile and (again…in my humble opinion) is definitely a keeper. I love it even more paired with the beautiful Succulent Garden Designer Series Paper. Oh! And those sweet dragonflies! Ugh….gorgeous!
Here’s a look at all of the sentiments in the stamp set.

Stamp dotted image in Calypso Coral ink on card front several times so it will show under the die cut dragonfly images.
Adhere front layer to card base.
Glue die cut dragonflies back into place by placing glue behind the bodies of the dragonflies only – this allows the wings and tails to pop up a little bit.

Stamp large dragonfly in Calypso Coral ink on inside bottom right corner.
