NEW Punch Art Class

“Give punch art a try and suddenly you’ll see shapes in a whole new way!”

So…what IS punch art? Great question.

It’s a way of using punches and dies to create all sorts of characters with scraps of cardstock. I LOVE it and I want to share it with you.

Each month I’ll be creating THREE brand new punch art designs and projects exclusively for you. They will be punched, die cut, prepped and packed and sent directly to you along with pieces for the three projects they go along with. Stamp sets and stamped images will NOT be included.

FREE Product each month will be included and will be valued at $20 – $25. It may include the following: Ribbon, Embellishments, Designer Series Paper. You’ll also receive 1/2 pack of 6″ x 6″ 2-ring clear page protectors along with photo reference sheets for all three punch art “critters”. There will be 3 video tutorials along with a pdf color tutorial download for you to print and keep.

Class Fee is $42.95 and includes shipping. You MUST sign up no later than NOVEMBER 5th, 2024 to be eligible for the November kits. No exceptions.

“Feeling Punchy” 1-day Punch Art Retreat

Hello, Friends!

Have you always looked at projects with fun punch art and wondered how in the world it was created?  If so, this one day retreat is for you.

For those of you who know me, you no doubt have figured out that Punch Art is my very favorite thing to create.  It just make my heart happy and I LOVE being able to share that joy with others.

Come spend the day with me and learn tips and tricks to create your very own punch art projects.  I will shed a little light on how I create my “critters” from start to finish.  We will also create five projects together and you’ll go home with the tutorials too.

I’d love to have you join me on Saturday, March 30th from 10 a.m. til 3 p.m. at the Greater Manassas Rescue Squad located at 9322 Center Street, Manassas, VA  20110.

Your investment:  $65

What’s included?
*  When you register, you will choose and list $30 worth of product that you’d like to have at the retreat.  It may be punches, framelits, adhesives etc. that you’d like to have to take home for your future projects.  Your order MUST be included when you sign up to ensure that there’s adequate time for your order to be received before the retreat.
Registration fee is non-refundable.  Products and projects will be available for pick up the week following the retreat if you are unable to attend.  Shipping costs will apply for orders that need to be mailed.

Gobble til you Wobble!

Turkey Day is just ONE week away!

I can’t wait for all of the family fun and yummy food this Thanksgiving.  What a treat and blessing to have a brand new family member at the table this year to celebrate with us.  This is Emmaline’s first Thanksgiving and I’m sure she will love it.

If you’re like me, you find yourself trying to find something fun to put at each person’s place at the table to dress things up a bit.  Well, this little “Tom the Turkey” is the perfect answer.  Not only is he just stinkin’ cute, but he holds two Hershey nuggets for an after dinner treat.

You just can’t help but smile when you look at that sweet face.  Want to know what is  the best??  His feathers are stamped using the Making Every Day Bright  (148813) stamp set and get this….the Christmas Bulb Builder Punch (148013)!  Say WHAT??  Yes indeed!  It’s just one of the reasons that I LOVE punch art.  Creating fun “critters” made from various punched shapes and watching them come to life is absolutely my FAVORITE things to create.

I just LOVE those stitched framelits.  This set is a little different from the Stitched Shapes Framelits in that the stitching on the inside and the outside of the shape.  They are perfect to create frames like I have here.

NEW Punch Art Tutorial Debuts

Hello, my friends!

I’ve been working on some exciting new punch art here in the studio and today I’m thrilled to debut this sweet one.  Cinderella is by far one of my favorite princesses and I love the way she just shines on this card.  The Magical Day stamp set, Myths & Magic Specialty Designer Series Paper and the Whisper White Narrow Notecards and Envelopes all come together to make this project just POP!

This step-by-step, color tutorial is available for FREE with any $15 purchase at my Online Store or $10 for the tutorial only option.
I’ve changed the Tutorials page here on the blog and I’ll be adding a bunch of NEW ones in the coming weeks.  I’m working with a new system where you will be able to instantly download your tutorials after purchase.  WOOT!
