A Magical Day…

Hey there, Stampin’ Peeps!!

So….I had high hopes of posting tons of updates from Convention and it just wasn’t possible for me to do so..  I will be sharing info and photos from that awesome event with you in the coming days and weeks.  But right now I want to share some photos of the other BIG event that has been my primary focus for much of the time for the last, oh…let’s see… YEAR or so.  Brittany and Sam’s wedding.

Our daughter, Brittany, married her love, Sam this past Saturday and it was SO incredible. 
There were lots of our family and friends who came to share in the celebration and we feel SO blessed.  It did rain for a bit but there was a “break” in the weather system and the kids were able to get married outside after all.  It was SO wonderful.  Here are a few photos for you so you can get a feel for what the day was like…..

These were a few of the poses from their portraits after the ceremony.  I will be sharing all of the vendor info here on my blog for any of you who may be looking for any of the services they offer.  We had AMAZING service from absolutely ALL of our vendors and we recommend them ALL highly.

I took this photo the morning of the wedding before everyone arrived to start getting ready.  Her colors were orange (or Pumpkin Pie – for all you SU! peeps out there) and blue (Tempting Turquoise)  Her shoes were orange satin pumps with a peep toe and a touch of “bling”  She wore an ivory rose clip in her hair.  Her garter was ivory with an orange monarch butterfly on it.  Her jewelry was a gorgeous necklace and matching earrings from Charming Charlie’s.  It was a perfect accent piece for her dress.  She had a lovely handkerchief that was given to her by Sam’s grandmother, Nonnie.  Nonnie recently traveled to Rome and went to the Vatican.  The handkerchief was blessed by the Pope and Nonnie brought it back just for Brittany.  It was SO special.  Then…her something old were the two pennies you see in the photo.  One was from 1980 – the year Sam’s parents were married and the other was from 1984 – the year that Mike and I were married.  She had one in each shoe when she walked down the aisle.

I can’t wait to be  able to share lots more of the photos and details with you.  For now, though, I just want to thank all of you who have continued to hang in there with me while we got through all the planning and eventually the wedding.  I’m still stamping and and I have a LOT to share.  I hope you will continue to come back again and again and visit me here on the blog.
