My Funny Valentine Wreath

I know…I know….Some people say it’s just a “Hallmark Holiday” but I don’t care!

I love Valentine’s Day!!  There…I said it!

I like making fun treats, cards and decorations…I love hearts…I love red and pink….I love it ALL!

So….I was really excited to put this project together using the “Affection Collection” stamp set.

What do you think??

I started with a cardboard circle and some wooden clothespins.  I picked out some of my favorite scraps of Designer Series Paper and got to work.  It was really a fun project to make.  Here’s another view…

 

 

I know….it looks labor intensive but I swear to you it’s not bad at all.

I used Framelits from both the “Hearts A Flutter” set and the “Hearts Collection” Framelits.

I added stamps from the “Affection Collection” stamp set but you could add others also.  I have another wreath almost complete and I’m using the adorable “You Are Loved” stamp set.  It’s just so stinkin’ cute.

 

 

I added a few embellishments from the New Spring Catalog…
