Happy Tuesday, Friends!
Boy, things have been hoppin’ around here. It’s definitely an exciting time and I’m feeling extremely blessed to be able to be home full time to do what I love to do….STAMP and CREATE. I went through all of my stamp sets last night with the newly released “Retired List” and man, oh MAN am I going to have lots of sets for sale at my “Happy Retirement Hoopla” event. Now, of course, there are some that I’m sad to see go but I’ll tell you a little secret….Stampin’ Up! always replaces my favorites with even better and NEW favorites with the premiere of their new catalog. It never fails.
Speaking of the New Catalog Premiere….If you haven’t reserved your copy from me yet, please make sure to either email me or leave me a comment here on the blog and let me know you would like one of your very own. For those of you who are local, there’s no charge. For those who are long distance, I will be happy to mail you a copy when you pay the shipping cost. Like I said, just send me a note and we’ll get you all set up.
Now…I have a fun card to share with you today. “By the Seashore” (Item #132852 wood/ #126532 clear) is one of my favorite stamp sets and it’s not retiring. Woot! I wanted to make a quick “Thank You” card for Brittany’s new in-laws who had us all over for Easter dinner and this card should arrive in their mailbox tomorrow. They are huge “beach” and “ocean” people so I hope they like the card.
I love the color palette that coordinates with the “High Tide” Designer Series Paper from the Occasions Catalog. The colors I used are Pacific Point, Smoky Slate, Summer Starfruit, Calypso Coral and Whisper White. The Summer Starfruit line of products is retiring. That includes the ribbon on this card. I have to be honest….Summer Starfruit was most definitely NOT one of my favorite In Colors when they debuted but it really has grown on me.
Here’s a look at the designs that are included in the High Tide DSP pack (Item #137394)
