Monogram Messages and a Stinkin’ Cute Gift Box

I’m out here on the deck enjoying a beautiful morning.  Not to worry….it’s going to be a scorcher later.  Welcome to summer in Virginia!
Today’s project was featured last night on my “Create at 8” Facebook Live.  If you don’t follow my on Facebook, you can check it out by searching “Suitably Stamped”.  Here’s what we made…

It’s such a fun box that is 3″ x 3″ square and it will hold all sorts of things.  I wanted a cute way to package up some of my favorite bath bombs from Sugar + Spruce.  (If only we had “smellavision!)  Here’s  a link for you so you can check them out. Sugar + Spruce

This project features three of my favorites….  Playing with Patterns Designer Series Paper (152490), Monogram Messages Stamp Set (152673) and Whisper White Polka Dot Tulle Ribbon (146912).  They go together like…ummm….peanut butter and jelly!  LOL

Here are the measurements and supplies…  the video from my Live is right below.
Measurements:
Box Base 1:  6″ x 8″ score at 3″ on the 6″ side,
score at 1″, 4″ and 7″ on the 8″ side
Box Base 2:  6″ x 6″ score at 3″ on both sides
Box Lid:  5″ x 5″ score at 1″ on all four sides
Handle:  Cardstock:  1″ x 8″, DSP: 3/4″ x 8″
Side/Top Decor:  5ea. cardstock 2-3/4″ x 2-3/4″
5 ea. Designer Series Paper 2-1/2″ x 2-1/2″
Tag: 1-5/8″ strip

Ornate Gift Packaging

  • Hello, Friends!  I have really been looking forward to sharing this fun project with you.  If you’re like me you probably have quite the stash of Designer Series Paper and it’s just been waiting for its time to shine.  Now is that time!  How many times have you needed gift packaging in a hurry?  I know for me it happens often.  This quick gift bag with the adorable fortune cookie will be the hit of any occasion.  Wait!  There’s more!  Add in some coordinating, stamped tissue paper and they’ll think you are the next Joanna Gaines!
