What’s Up, Wednesday?

It is a rainy, gloomy day here today and I was so happy to find a little color to cheer things up a bit in the studio.  I love the way that Peekaboo Peach and Tangerine Tango on today’s card just pop off of the page. Below you’ll find a step by step tutorial on how to make some of your own.  I hope it brightens your day!  As always, all supplies are available at my Online Store at http://www.stampinup.net/esuite/home/suitablystamped/

Stamp:  Flourishing Phrases Clear-Mount Stamp Set [141534]
Card Stock:  2016-2018 In Color Designer Series Paper Stack [141408], Dazzling Diamonds Glimmer Paper [135315], Peekaboo Peach [141417], Tangerine Tango [111349], Pear Pizzazz [131201], Whisper White [100730]
Ink:  Pear Pizzazz [131180], Peekaboo Peach [141398]
Misc:  Flourish Thinlits Dies [141478], Rhinestone Basic Jewels [119246], Stampin’ Dimensionals [104430], Glue Dots [103683]
          
Measurements:
Pear Pizzazz CS:     8 1/2” x 5 1/2”, 3 ¼” x 4 ¼ “
Whisper White CS: 3” x 4”
Designer Paper: 4 x 5 ¼ “
Glimmer paper ¾ x 4”
Peekaboo Peach and Tangerine Tango scraps.
          
Instructions:
  • Create your card base by scoring a pear pizzazz cs piece at 4 ¼”. Adhere designer paper to card front and glimmer paper in the center.
  • Stamp large flower in Peekaboo peach in top right corner of whisper white cs. Stamp sentiment in pear pizazz toward the bottom and 3 sets of the leaves around the flower.
  • Adhere stamped white piece to the 3 ¼ x 4 ¼“ pear pizazz cs. Attach to the card with dimensionals.
  • Cut medium flower from peekaboo peach and larger from tangerine tango scraps using thinlits and Big Shot. Layer on top of each other and adhere to card with glue dots. Add rhinestones to the center of 2 flowers.

My $1,000 Birthday Party

Hello!  Yep!  Today is my birthday!  Wahooo!!  I’ve had a fabulous day and I’m just not ready to stop celebrating quite yet.  I really love giving gifts and I think this is the perfect time to do it.

Here’s how it will work….
1.  Sign up by Tuesday, September 27th to claim your spot and agree to do an order of at least $100 (I need 10 people to sign up) All 10 orders from the 10 participants will be put together to make up one $1000.00 order, so that the benefits of the $1000 order will be dispersed  between all 10 participants.  Email me at shellsuit@verizon.net to claim your spot!

3.  Gifts For Everyone!!

This is a quick turnaround special.  I’ve been working towards a goal all year and time is running out for me to reach it.  September 30th at midnight is my deadline.  I’m working hard to earn an all expense paid trip for two to Thailand with Stampin’ Up!  and I’m SO close.  I can’t thank you enough for all of your support and I sincerely treasure you, my wonderful stampin’ friends.  Here’s a peek at the photo that has been hanging on my studio wall this year.  This has been my motivation to work even harder.

Happy BOO to You!

So long, summer! Hello, Fall!

Don’t get me wrong…I love summer!  I was talking to Linz the other day and she said how sad she is that summer is coming to an end and I really stopped and thought about which season I love the most  I honestly can’t choose.  Really though….hoodies, bonfires, football, pumpkins, colorful leaves…what’s not to love?

I have to admit that since the Holiday Catalog went LIVE I have been all about the holidays.  Have I mentioned lately how much I love this catalog??  Oh yeah….I have.  Well, I have a fun project for you today that I hope will make you smile and feel a little “fall” vibe.  If you’d like to make some of your very own, I’ll have the supplies listed for you at the end.

Hello, my friends!  We just returned from an incredible family adventure in California.  We went out there so that I could run in the Disneyland Half Marathon last weekend and then stayed and explored.  We arrived the day before Lindsay’s birthday so we just HAD to celebrate it….Disney Style!
What memories we made….
