“Watercolor Winter” Simply Created Kit when you arrive.  You’ll have supplies to create 20 gorgeous cards with some stinkin’ cute envelopes and accessories all ready to go.  You can create them all here or take them to finish at home.

Man, oh man is the glitter every flying here in the studio.  I’m prepping for both sessions of “Christmas in the Air” card class this Wednesday.  I can’t wait to share these fun card designs with everyone.

What a terrific week this has been.  I’ve been able to squeeze in a little time in the studio and I have so many new beauties to share over the coming weeks.  The BIGGEST and BEST thing that happened this week???  We found out the gender of our gradbaby that’s due on April 2nd!!!!

We are beyond thrilled!  I spent this morning with Brittany at her sonogram appointment and that was absolutely magical.  He actually looked right at us and waved. 🙂  (Oh YES he did!!!)

 If you can’t tell….His head is on the right side with his right hand “waving” beside his right ear.  You can see his eyes and mouth too.  How awesome is THAT??  We can’t wait to meet him.  He’s 11 weeks and 4 days old today.  God is SO incredibly good.

Well…the weatherman says the heat and humidity are headed our way again but I don’t mind. I’m still celebrating the colors of fall here in my studio. The stamp set I’m featuring today is one that caught my eye immediately when I first browsed the Holiday Catalog.  Now that I’ve seen lots of samples on Pinterest and seen the ways that people are using them I’m even MORE hooked on it.

The stamp set is called “Seasonally Scattered”.  It comes in both wood mount and clear mount.  It’s gorgeous stamped in one color…multiple colors…and also embossed.  I love it!  Here’s what I created…

We are absolutely chillin’ this weekend.  It’s been a crazy last few weeks and I think we’ve earned some “R and R”.  I’ll be stamping some and organizing too.  That sounds relaxing to me.

I want to share a fun, new challenge with you.  Sometimes I find myself stumped for ideas when I’m ready to create a new card or project.  How do I get past it?  Well, here’s a little known fact about me….I’m a “magazine fanatic/collector”.  I could seriously spend a mint on magazines.  Sure I love them for the articles and information….but I LOVE them for the gorgeous photos too.  I’ve found a LOT of inspiration while flipping through a magazine while waiting in line at the grocery store.  Hahaha

So….I want to challenge YOU.  Here’s a photo I came across this week and it has inspired a few new projects in my studio.  I think it’s just gorgeous.  I love the colors, the theme and the overall
composition.

Here’s the challenge…..Are you ready?? 

1.  Create a card or 3D item that comes from inspiration from this photo….It can be the colors  (some or all), the theme or whatever your “take away” is from the photo.

2.  Email me a photo of your project at shellsuit@verizon.net

3.  I will have all of the projects here and will have my team pick a winner.

4.  The deadline?  All entries need to be received by next Saturday, September 6th.
