Color “full” of Thanks
Happy Monday, Peeps!
It feels SO good to be back in the studio today. It’s really cold and rainy outside my window and I’m happy to be inside where it’s warm and toasty. I have a colorful, fun card to share with you today. I love revisiting techniques that are “oldies but goodies”. This is one of those techniques.
This colorful “Thanks” card was made using the “Baby Wipe Technique”. Man, oh MAN! I had forgotten how much I love this technique. It’s really easy and, as you can see, it creates really stunning images.
Follow these easy, step-by-step directions to try it out…
Step 1: Grab a paper plate or a plate you’re willing to use for just creating crafts.
Step 2: Take two baby wipes (any brand will do) and fold them in half. Then stack them one on top of the other and put them on the plate.
Step 3: Choose the stamp you’d like to use as the focal point for your project.
Step 4: Choose 3 or 4 colors of Stampin’ Up! Reinkers. They’re SO much more than just a way to reink your stamp pads. The colors used on this project are: Pumpkin Pie #105229, Daffodil Delight #119672 and Blackberry Bliss #133648
Step 5: Take the first reinker and start adding random drops to the baby wipe.
Step 6: Take the next color and add drops to fill in some of the spaces.
Step 7: Take the last of your color choices and fill in the rest of the white spaces.
Step 8: Voila! Your stamp pad awaits! Stamp your image and see how beautiful the colors appear.
Now, how cool is that?? The possibilities are endless. You will be able to stamps lots of images with your unique stamp pad. Enjoy!
Okay….Here’s your supply list. Be sure to click on the item(s) you want to order and they will be added to your shopping cart. Yep…it’s magical! My Online Store can also be found at www.stampinsuitsme.stampinup.net
Wishing you a wonderful, warm and toasty day,
Back from vacation and ready to roll!!
Hello, my friends!
I am back from our wonderful vacation. I never dreamed I would actually come home with new “bling”! Check it out!!
I am unbelievably proud to say that I DID IT! I completed my very first HALF MARATHON!! WOOT! I still can’t believe it. I keep pulling the medal out just to make sure it wasn’t a dream. It was truly one of the hardest yet most rewarding things I’ve done. After having three surgeries on my ankle and being out of commission for SO long, I never EVER thought I could do something like this. I had such an incredible support team and they are honestly what got me through. I’ll have to have a separate blog post just for all the details of the race. P.S. It was at DISNEY WORLD! Even better!
I was really glad that I took along my sketch book because for some reason being out in the “real world” seemed to get my creative brain back in gear. I have so many new design ideas and I can’t wait to get back into the studio tomorrow.
Here are a few smiles for you before I sign off for the night. Be sure to stay tuned for all the new projects. Let the magic begin!
Stamped Blessings,
Michelle
